About this plant
Tulipa 'Blushing Beauty' is a Single Late tulip with large, cup-shaped flowers that open in late spring, typically in May. The blooms begin with a soft pink to blush-cream base that can deepen toward peach and rosy edges and are carried on firm stems above linear, gray-green leaves. The flower form is elegant and refined, with smooth petals that surround the center and hold their shape as they mature.
This cultivar originated as a sport of 'Temple of Beauty', a well-known Dutch tulip lineage, and has been grown widely through the bulb trade from the Netherlands. Its spring display adds warm, gentle color to beds and borders and makes excellent cut stems for floral arrangements as the season progresses.
