About this plant
Tulipa 'La Belle Epoque' bears full, layered flowers in muted tones of antique rose, apricot, and soft brown, giving the blooms a velvety, aged appearance. The blossoms are double in form, opening wide with a rounded, peony-like shape. Flowering occurs in mid to late spring, when the expanded blooms hold their color well as they mature.
This cultivar belongs to the Double tulip group and was introduced through modern Dutch breeding. 'La Belle Epoque' has gained attention for its refined coloration and substantial flower form, which pair well with other late-season tulips and spring perennials while maintaining a distinctive presence of their own.
