About this plant
Anemone nemorosa 'Bracteata Plena' produces fully double white flowers arranged in layered rosettes, surrounded by green bracts. Flowering occurs in early to mid spring, rising above finely divided foliage. Plants emerge early in the season, forming spreading mats that fade as warmer weather arrives.
This historic woodland selection dates to European garden cultivation of the nineteenth century. It thrives in naturalistic plantings beneath deciduous trees, along shaded paths, or at the front of spring borders.
