About this plant
Iris 'Anaconda Love' is a border bearded iris with ruffled, broken-color flowers blooming in late midseason. Light pink standards are lightly splashed with beetroot purple, while rich beetroot-purple falls are irregularly streaked with silvery white and occasional touches of pink. Orange beards provide a warm accent, and the flowers carry a slight fragrance. Upright, sword-shaped green foliage forms compact fans beneath the blooms.
Introduced in 1999 by American hybridizer Brad Kasperek through Zebra Gardens, 'Anaconda Love' is known for its expressive broken-color pattern. Its smaller stature makes it especially useful toward the front of sunny borders, along walkways, and in dedicated iris beds. The richly patterned flowers also bring character to cottage-style plantings and make an interesting choice for spring cut-flower arrangements.

Design tip
