About this plant
Iris 'Noticeable' is a tall bearded iris with beautifully ruffled flowers that bloom in early midseason. The standards open a clear blue, deepening toward violet-blue along the central ribs, while the falls are rosy pink with broad white centers that brighten the flower considerably. Tangerine beards provide a warm accent against the cooler blue, pink, and white petals. Upright, sword-shaped green foliage forms neat fans beneath the flowering stems.
Hybridized by Joseph Ghio and registered in 2021, 'Noticeable' combines distinctly cool and warm colors within a single flower. Its blue standards and rosy falls make it especially useful for connecting separate areas of pink, lavender, and blue within a mixed planting. The white centers keep the combination light and provide enough contrast for the individual flowers to remain clearly visible from across the garden.
