About this plant
Iris 'That's All Folks' is a tall bearded iris with exceptionally large, ruffled flowers that bloom in midseason. Brilliant golden-yellow standards rise above broad white falls washed with gold near the shoulders and surrounded by wide golden-yellow margins. Fine gold veining blends the white centers into the warmer outer coloring, while matching gold beards complete the luminous two-tone effect. Upright, sword-shaped green foliage provides a clean backdrop for the tall flowering stems.
'That's All Folks' was hybridized by William Maryott, registered in 2004, and introduced by Joseph Ghio's Bay View Gardens in 2005. Appropriately, it was Maryott's final iris introduction. It went on to receive several major American Iris Society honors, culminating in the American Dykes Medal in 2013. Its large flowers and clear gold-and-white coloring make it particularly effective where it can serve as a bright focal point in a sunny planting.

Design tip
Allow 'That's All Folks' to rise above lower plants rather than surrounding it with flowers of similar height. Its white fall centers provide enough separation to keep the abundant gold from feeling heavy, making repeated clumps effective for carrying warm color through a border.
