About this plant
Helleborus x glandorfensis HGC 'Ice N' Roses Picotee' is a beautiful hybrid hellebore known for its unique bicolor flowers that feature a creamy white center with a dark pink or burgundy edge. The blooms appear in late winter to early spring, providing a cheerful splash of color during the colder months. Its glossy, dark green foliage remains attractive year-round, complementing the delicate flowers.
Part of the Helleborus Gold Collection® (HGC), 'Ice N' Roses Picotee' was developed through the collaboration of European breeders. This hybrid is a cross between Helleborus niger and Helleborus x hybridus varieties, combining the winter-blooming characteristics of Helleborus niger with the strong garden performance of hybrid hellebores. It thrives in shaded areas, adding elegance and charm to gardens during the dormant winter season.

Design tip
Winter interest is the reason to grow it, so keep it near an entry where the bloom is noticed. Cooler light suits it, so tuck it on the north side of a shrub or wall where the soil stays even.
