About this plant
Maianthemum racemosum subsp. amplexicaule rises on gently arching stems lined with broad, clasping green leaves that create a calm woodland presence through the growing season. In late spring to early summer, airy plumes of tiny cream to white flowers open above the foliage, their reddish stems, buds, and developing ovaries lending the inflorescences a soft pink cast, especially in bright light or early fruit formation.
