About this plant
Rosa 'Auskeppy' (also sold as Grace®) is an English shrub rose that opens with warm apricot to salmon‑orange blooms that gradually soften toward paler edges. The richly formed, cupped flowers carry a strong tea fragrance and appear in repeated flushes from late spring through fall, set against fresh, apple‑green foliage. The plant forms an arching, elegant shrub with an abundant floral display.
Introduced by David Austin in 2001, this rose blends classic charm with modern performance. Its clean habit and reliable reblooming make it a favorite in cottage gardens, mixed borders, or as a memorable focal point. The fragrant apricot tones deepen in cooler weather, offering subtle variation through the season.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Shrub roses need only light thinning, keeping their natural full shape and repeat bloom.
