About this plant
Rosa 'Beverly' is a hybrid tea rose producing large, high-centered blossoms in soft pink shades with deeper rose centers. Blooms appear in recurring flushes from early summer through fall and emit an intense fruity fragrance with notes of citrus, pear, and plum. Rich dark green, semi-glossy foliage forms on upright, bushy canes, while rose hips may appear later in the season.
Bred by Wilhelm Kordes III in Germany in 1999 and introduced in 2007, this esteemed rose has earned multiple fragrance and hybrid tea awards, including honors at the Biltmore Trials and Hague Rose Competition. Praised for excellent disease resistance and enduring bloom cycles, 'Beverly' offers a combination of fragrance, form, and performance in a classic garden setting.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
