Rosa 'Bring Me Sunshine' is a shrub rose with large, deeply filled cupped rosette blooms in glowing sunset orange-yellow that slowly fade to soft apricot tones. The richly colored flowers appear in repeat flushes from early summer through fall, releasing a medium-strong myrrh fragrance that fills garden spaces. Glossy, semi-gloss foliage supports an upright, bushy habit, while its clean appearance enhances planting beds, containers, or mixed borders.
Bred in the United Kingdom by Carl Bennett and introduced by David Austin Roses in 2022, this rose is praised for its wellness and performance. Its continuous blooms, aromatic scent, and adaptability to both full and partial sun make it a delightful and resilient addition to landscapes.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Shrub roses need only light thinning, keeping their natural full shape and repeat bloom.
