Rosa 'Crimson Bouquet' is a grandiflora rose that bears large, richly colored crimson-red blooms, either singly or in loose clusters. These double blossoms open from tightly pointed buds and give off a light, sweet fragrance. Flowering extensively from late spring through early fall, the blooms are set above glossy dark green foliage, with petals that resist fading in heat. This rose forms a well-shaped, upright shrub that works beautifully in beds, borders, or containers, and it often produces round rose hips as blooms fade.
Bred in Germany by Wilhelm Kordes III and introduced in 1999, 'Crimson Bouquet' earned the All‑America Rose Selections award in 2000. It is celebrated for its consistent bloom cycle, elegant flower form, and dependable disease resistance, making it a trusted choice for cut flower gardens or landscape plantings.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Grandifloras carry clustered blooms on taller stems, so a sturdy, open framework pays off.
