Rosa 'Easy Does It' is a floribunda rose that opens with scalloped, double blooms in blended shades of mango orange, peach-pink, and honey-apricot. These flowers have a mild fruity fragrance, emerging in clusters from late spring through fall. Glossy, deep green foliage accents the swirling bloom hues, and fresh red-tinted growth adds seasonal texture. Its rounded, bushy form supports a continuous floral display that draws pollinators and lends itself well to garden beds, borders, or containers.
Bred in Great Britain by Harkness before 2006, this rose was introduced in the U.S. in 2010 and honored with the All-America Rose Selections award that same year. Known for robust disease resistance and reliable repeat blooming, 'Easy Does It' thrives across climates, offering long-lasting color and easy-care performance for both novice and experienced gardeners.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Floribundas bloom in generous clusters, and light shaping keeps the framework rounded and full.
