About this plant
Rosa 'Gemini' is a hybrid tea rose that displays large, elegantly formed blooms in a creamy‑coral blend, with edges often flushed in deeper pink tones. Flowers open from firm buds and appear in repeated flushes from late spring through fall, each exuding a light fruity fragrance. Glossy, dark green foliage frames the blooms and maintains clean character throughout the season.
Introduced in 2000, 'Gemini' was awarded the All‑America Rose Selections honor that same year. Its long stems make it well suited for cutting, and its color intensity increases as blooms mature. The rose combines visual interest, fragrance, and dependable reblooming for varied garden use.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
