About this plant
Rosa 'Iceberg' is a floribunda rose with abundant clusters of pure white blooms, often showing a soft pink blush at certain times. The double flowers appear repeatedly from late spring through fall, accompanied by a mild honey‑sweet fragrance. Its glossy medium to light green foliage provides a clean and elegant backdrop to the continuous floral display.
Originally introduced in Germany in 1958 under the cultivar name 'KORbin', 'Iceberg' has become one of the world's most popular and widely planted roses. It is praised for its disease resistance, reliability in bloom, and versatility in landscape, mass plantings, formal gardens, or mixed borders.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Floribundas bloom in generous clusters, and light shaping keeps the framework rounded and full.
