About this plant
Rosa 'Marc Chagall' is a floribunda rose showing large, delicately clustered flowers striped with pink, pale yellow, and creamy white tones. The semi‑double blooms open in generous sprays from late spring through autumn, emitting a mild fruity fragrance. Dark green foliage frames each bloom, disease resistance is well‑noted, and its visual interest holds up in garden beds or containers.
Bred in France by Delbard Roses and introduced in 2020 under the name 'Marc Chagall', this rose was developed for its painterly color effects and ornamental value. Its upright‑bushy habit, repeat blooming, and elegantly striped flowers make it a standout specimen for both mixed plantings and display gardens.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Floribundas bloom in generous clusters, and light shaping keeps the framework rounded and full.
