About this plant
Rosa 'Radcor' is a shrub rose known commercially as Rainbow Knock Out®. It bears single, coral‑pink blooms with yellow centers that appear in clusters, opening from burgundy new foliage that ages to deep green. Flowering is continuous from late spring through fall, providing a long season of floral display with minimal care. The blooms are self‑cleaning, dropping spent petals so deadheading isn't necessary.
Introduced to the Knock Out® rose family, 'Radcor' is noted for its disease resistance and suitability for low‑maintenance gardens. Its colorful blooms contrast beautifully against the clean foliage, and orange‑red hips follow blooms later in the season to add winter interest.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Shrub roses need only light thinning, keeping their natural full shape and repeat bloom.
