About this plant
Rosa 'Ring of Fire' is a hybrid tea rose with flaming coral-orange blooms that slowly fade to yellow in the center, carried on tall, elegant stems above matte green foliage. The large, exhibition‑form flowers appear in flushes throughout the season from late spring through fall and offer a mild, tea‑fruity fragrance. The bushy growth habit and glossy leaves frame each bloom beautifully, and the flower color holds well even in warm weather.
Released in 2015, this rose traces parentage to 'Hotel California' × 'Marilyn Monroe'. 'Ring of Fire' is known for its performance in show gardens and cut flower arrangements, combining bold color, repeated bloom cycles, and clean foliage for lasting garden display.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
