About this plant
Rosa 'State of Grace' produces large, fully double flowers in glowing apricot, honey, and soft golden pink tones, blooming in repeated flushes from late spring through fall and filling the garden with a rich fruity fragrance. Glossy, deep green leaves form a full, healthy canopy that provides an elegant backdrop to the blooms throughout the growing season. The flowers are carried on long stems, with densely layered petals that open into a classic, cupped form, making them equally suited to the garden and floral arrangements.
Originating through modern hybrid breeding in the United States, this cultivar was selected for its abundant flowering, fragrance, and refined form. It is well suited to mixed borders, cutting gardens, and specimen plantings, where its warm flower colors and repeat bloom provide months of seasonal beauty.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Grandifloras carry clustered blooms on taller stems, so a sturdy, open framework pays off.
