About this plant
Rosa 'Sweet Fragrance' is a grandiflora rose with hybrid‑tea shaped buds that bloom in coral‑orange tones. The flowers mature to salmon-pink with hints of apricot, each blossom carrying strong sweet fragrance. Blooms appear from late spring through fall, held on upright canes above glossy dark green foliage. Its clean leaves and long flowering season make it excellent for cutting.
Developed under the Easy Elegance® program, this rose combines garden reliability and flower show quality. Known for its vigor, upright form, and resistance to disease, Sweet Fragrance continues to bloom under heat and offers year‑long garden appeal.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Grandifloras carry clustered blooms on taller stems, so a sturdy, open framework pays off.
