About this plant
Camellia 'Spring Mist' is a fragrant evergreen shrub with glossy leaves that emerge bronze before turning green. Along its branches, semi-double blossoms open blush pink and pale toward white at the petal edges, each with a cluster of golden stamens. Blooming from late winter into mid-spring, it bears scented flowers that add color to shaded paths, patios, and woodland borders.
Camellia 'Spring Mist' is a hybrid between Camellia japonica 'Snow Bell' and Camellia lutchuensis, selected for fragrance and dependable flowering. Bred by Dr. Clifford Parks, it suits mild to moderately cold regions. Evergreen foliage and a long bloom period give it lasting presence in shrub borders, woodland gardens, and large containers.
