About this plant
Syringa x 'Bloomerang Dark Purple' is a reblooming lilac with sweet fragrance and dense, cone-shaped clusters of tubular florets. In mid to late spring, deep purple buds open to rich lilac-pink flowers held in full panicles above a leafy canopy of small, tidy green leaves. The initial flush perfumes patios and paths for weeks.
After a short pause to push new growth, it flowers again from mid to late summer and can continue into fall, often until frost. This cultivar is sold through the Bloomerang series and is valued for repeat bloom and a clean, well-branched look that keeps its garden presence beyond the main spring season.
