About this plant
Clematis 'Moonglow' produces large, star-shaped flowers in soft silvery lavender, each petal marked by a distinct lime green central bar that remains visible as the bloom matures. At the center, finely textured stamens form a dense tuft of deep mauve tones, adding depth and contrast. Flowering begins in late spring to early summer, with additional blooms often appearing later in the season. Medium green foliage provides a calm backdrop along the climbing stems.
Introduced through modern clematis breeding in the Channel Islands, 'Moonglow' performs well on trellises, arches, and fences where its blooms can be viewed up close. It also adapts well to containers, offering refined color and dependable flowering throughout the growing season.
