Dahlia 'Angels of 7A'

Dahlia 'Angels of 7A' produces true red, 4-inch waterlily blooms with broad, gently cupped petals arranged in a full, symmetrical form. The rich red coloring extends across the petals, creating clean, saturated flowers carried on strong stems. Blooming begins in midsummer and continues through autumn until the first frosts, providing a generous supply of flowers for cutting.

Introduced by Swan Island Dahlias in Oregon in 2014, 'Angels of 7A' was named in tribute to the OHSU Trauma Unit staff who cared for Ted Gitts. Its graceful blooms are well suited to mixed borders, cutting gardens, containers, and floral arrangements.
