Iris 'Feel The Thunder'
Feel The Thunder Iris
Iris 'Feel The Thunder' is a tall bearded iris with very large, abundantly ruffled flowers that bloom in midseason. The standards are a pale, clear blue, while the broad falls deepen to a rich medium blue with lighter blue edging. Softer blue-violet tones appear along the undersides of the rippled falls, adding dimension as the petals curve and move. Yellow beards provide a small warm accent against the predominantly cool coloring.

Design tip
Take advantage of 'Feel The Thunder's' extra height by positioning it behind lower flowering perennials rather than along the front edge of a bed. Its pale standards remain visible above neighboring plants, while the darker falls provide enough depth to define each bloom.
