Perennials
Rudbeckia 'Summerina Orange'
Summerina Orange Black-Eyed Susan
Rudbeckia 'Summerina Orange' forms a dense clump of deep green, slightly rough leaves that create a full mound of foliage through the growing season. Upright stems carry large daisy-like flowers with glowing orange petals that deepen toward the center and surround a dark chocolate-brown cone. Blooming from early summer into autumn, the broad petals and rich central disk create a warm display.
This cultivated hybrid was developed in Europe through breeding within the Rudbeckia genus.

Design tip
Fall bloom is its strength, and it earns a place near a path or seating area used late in the year. Give it open sun and room to fill out, and repeat it in threes or fives so the planting reads as one sweep instead of scattered dots.
