Rosa 'Amber Sunblaze'
Amber Sunblaze Rose
Rosa 'Amber Sunblaze' is a miniature rose with abundant tangerine-orange blooms that age to a softer peach tone. These semi-double flowers appear in sprays of three atop glossy, dark green foliage and emerge in flushes from spring through fall. The blossoms are virtually fragrance-free but hold up well in containers, borders, or as a small hedge. Self-cleaning petals and clean foliage offer continuous appeal throughout the season.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Miniatures do beautifully in containers, where daily summer watering keeps them steady.
