Rosa 'Fragrant Cloud'

Fragrant Cloud Hybrid Tea Rose

Rosa 'Fragrant Cloud' is a hybrid tea rose distinguished by large, double blooms in glowing coral‑orange that deepen to rich orange-red as they mature. These fragrant blossoms-emitting a potent citrus-damask aroma-open singly or in clusters and repeat continuously from late spring through fall. Glossy dark green foliage frames each bloom and enhances the rose's refined presence, while sturdy, thorny stems support both garden display and cut-flower uses.

Planting & care

Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
