Rosa 'Just Joey'

Just Joey Hybrid Tea Rose

Rosa 'Just Joey' is a hybrid tea rose featuring large, fully double blooms in creamy apricot-orange with darker coppery edges. The ruffled petals open from tight buds into petaled rosettes, releasing a rich, fruity fragrance. Glossy, leathery dark green foliage supports these blooms, which appear in repeat flushes from late spring through fall, offering prolonged garden charm and presence.

Bred in the United Kingdom and introduced in 1972, 'Just Joey' earned a place in the Rose Hall of Fame as "World's Favorite Rose" in 1994.

Planting & care

Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
