Rosa 'Korpancom'
Electric Blanket Rose
Rosa 'Korpancom' (marketed as Electric Blanket™) is a groundcover rose that produces clusters of salmon‑pink blossoms from late spring through fall. The blooms open in pyramidal clusters of three to five flowers, displaying soft coral tones and a mild fragrance. Glossy, dark green foliage provides a clean backdrop that complements its floral show.
This compact rose was introduced by Jackson & Perkins and is valued for both its repeat blooming habit and landscape versatility.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Groundcover roses spread low and wide, needing little more than a spring tidy.
