Rosa 'Meijocos'
Pink Drift Rose
Rosa 'Meijocos', known as Pink Drift®, is a groundcover rose that bursts into bloom with single, deep-pink flowers featuring soft centers and yellow stamens. Blooms arrive in waves from late spring through fall, carried by glossy dark green foliage that remains clean and disease resistant. The plant forms a low, mounded carpet of foliage and blossoms, producing abundance in garden borders, containers, or paths.
'Meijocos' is appreciated for its performance in both hot and cold conditions, continues to bloom under stress, and retains excellent health. The Pink Drift® rose combines cheerful bloom display, garden reliability, and a soft fragrance that draws pollinators.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Groundcover roses spread low and wide, needing little more than a spring tidy.
