Rosa 'Playful Happy Trails'

Playful Happy Trails Rose

Rosa 'Playful Happy Trails' is a groundcover rose that bears single yellow blooms edged in red picotee, sometimes flushing entirely red before dropping cleanly. Flowers appear in clusters from late spring through fall, carried on small green leaves that form a dense, spreading carpet. The plant blooms self‑cleaning flowers with a light tea fragrance and attracts pollinators while providing continuous color with minimal upkeep.

'Playful Happy Trails' is a relatively new addition to the Happy Trails™ series, bred for its bold coloration and easy maintenance.

Planting & care

Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Groundcover roses spread low and wide, needing little more than a spring tidy.
