Rosa 'Secret'

Secret Hybrid Tea Rose

Rosa 'Secret' is a hybrid tea rose that offers large, creamy‑blush flowers tinged with pink blush along the edges. Blooms emerge from late spring and continue through fall in successive waves, each bearing a strong, spicy‑sweet fragrance. Glossy, dark green foliage frames the blossoms, and the rose exhibits good vigor and disease resistance.

Introduced in the United States in 1994, this rose quickly earned attention and won the All‑America Rose Selections award.

Planting & care

Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
