Rosa 'White Out' (also known as White Knock Out®) is a shrub rose featuring clusters of pure white, single blooms with golden stamens. The flowers open continuously from spring through fall, carried above deep green, disease‑resistant foliage that lends a clean and tidy look to the plant. The blooms emit a light floral scent and drop cleanly, reducing the need for deadheading.

Bred by Bill Radler and marketed under the Knock Out® line, this rose is prized for its nonstop flowering, compact habit, and resilience in varied conditions. It remains hardy, easy to care for, and effective in mass plantings, hedges, or as a luminous garden accent.

Planting & care

Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Shrub roses need only light thinning, keeping their natural full shape and repeat bloom.
