Rosa 'Mr. Lincoln'
Mr. Lincoln Hybrid Tea Rose
Rosa 'Mr. Lincoln' is a hybrid tea rose that produces large, fully double blooms in velvety deep red with high‑centered form. These intensely fragrant flowers emerge from pointed buds and repeat in flushes from late spring through through fall. Glossy dark green foliage frames each bloom, and long sturdy stems make this rose ideal for cutting and formal arrangements. The leaves often appear leathery, and the blossoms retain color even in warm weather.
Planting & care
Roses reward a sunny, open site with at least six hours of direct light, good air movement, and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Water deeply and less often, soaking the root zone while keeping the leaves dry, and mulch with two to three inches of compost or shredded bark held back from the canes. Feed repeat-blooming roses in early spring as growth starts and again after the first flush, then prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing canes and open the center. Long, straight stems make hybrid teas ideal for cutting, so give each plant room and airflow.
